Viola tailpiece-Tone enhancer, the "Schmidt Harp Style"- made of South American Castel Boxwood, with ebony saddle Castel Boxwood is harder than the Standard Boxwood more durable and acoustically better.  "Schmidt Harp style tailpiece" has been proven to improve the sound of most instruments. The extra "After length" enable the lower strings to have more vibration resulting in improved sonority. Further improvement can be achieved by using the Kevlar (bullet proof material) tailgut (catalog #2492)
