This wood has superb acoustical merits and is harder than the standard Boxwood.
"Schmidt Harp style tailpiece" has been proven to improve the sound of most instruments. The extra "After length" enable the lower strings to have more vibration resulting in improved sonority.
Further improvement can be achieved by using the Kevlar (bullet proof material) tailgut (catalog #2492)
